Terms of Service

Welcome to MomeHQ. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MomeHQ mobile application ("App") operated by MomeHQ LLC ("MomeHQ," "we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use MomeHQ. The App is designed for parents, guardians, and caregivers.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address and create a password to register.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may invite other caregivers to join your family group ("Village"). You are responsible for who you invite.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use MomeHQ only for its intended purpose: tracking baby care activities, collaborating with caregivers, and accessing AI-powered parenting guidance. You may not:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
- Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Impersonate another user or share false information
4. Subscriptions & Billing
4.1 Free Tier
MomeHQ offers a free tier with limited features, including up to 4 AI chat messages per day (shared across your family), basic log tracking, and a village size of up to 3 members.
4.2 Coach Plan (Premium)
- The Coach Plan is available as a monthly auto-renewable subscription at $7.99/month.
- A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers.
- The subscription is shared across your entire family/village — one purchase covers all members.
4.3 Payment & Renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the subscription price.
4.4 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App (Profile > Subscription > Cancel) or through your device's subscription settings (Apple: Settings > Subscriptions; Google: Play Store > Subscriptions).
- Upon cancellation, your premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
4.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription pricing. Any price changes will apply to billing periods starting after the change. You will be notified in advance of any price increase.
5. AI Features & Disclaimer
- MomeHQ uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic Claude) to provide parenting insights, parse voice/text logs, and generate summaries.
- AI content is for informational purposes only and is NOT medical advice.
- Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions regarding your child's health.
- AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.
- Web search results in the AI chat are restricted to trusted healthcare sources (AAP, CDC, WHO, Mayo Clinic, PubMed, KellyMom).
6. Your Content
- You retain ownership of all content you submit (photos, journal entries, log data, text).
- By using the App, you grant MomeHQ a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve the App's services to you.
- We will never use your content for advertising or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Family/Village Sharing
- When you invite someone to your Village, they can view and create baby logs, tasks, and other shared data.
- Admins can manage Village members and permissions.
- You are responsible for managing who has access to your family data.
8. Account Deletion
- You may delete your account at any time from Profile > Account > Delete Account.
- Account deletion permanently removes your profile, chat history, and feedback.
- If you are the last member of a family, all family data (baby records, logs, tasks, journals) will also be permanently deleted.
- Active subscriptions should be canceled separately through your device's subscription settings to avoid further charges.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOMEHQ LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
MomeHQ is a care-tracking and informational tool. We are not a healthcare provider. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MomeHQ LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
