MomeHQ LLC ("MomeHQ," "we," "our," or "us") operates the MomeHQ mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our App.
By using MomeHQ, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
- Email address
- Display name
- Role in the family (e.g., mom, dad, partner, grandparent, nanny)
- Profile photo (optional)
- Password (encrypted; we never store or see your plaintext password)
1.2 Baby & Family Information
- Baby's name, date of birth, gender, and due date
- Birth weight and length
- Baby profile photos
- Family group membership and invite codes
1.3 Care Activity Logs
When you log your baby's activities, we store:
- Feeding: type (bottle, breast), amount, duration, timestamps
- Sleep: duration, location, quality, wake-ups
- Diapers: type (wet, dirty), rash indicator
- Health: temperature readings, symptoms, severity, vaccines, medicines (name, dosage)
- Growth: weight, height, head circumference
- Activities: tummy time, baths, outdoor time, solids introduction
- Milestones: developmental achievements with optional photos/videos
1.4 Journal & Memory Entries
- Text entries, titles, mood tags
- Photos and videos you attach
- Voice recordings and their transcripts (for voice-to-journal)
1.5 AI Chat Conversations
When you chat with Ava (our AI assistant), we store your conversation history to provide continuity and personalized guidance. Conversations are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) in real time and are not retained by Anthropic after processing.
1.6 Tasks
- Task titles, assignments, due dates, priorities, and completion status

- Subscription status and plan type
- Transaction records via Apple App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat
- We do not collect or store credit card numbers or payment details directly. All payment processing is handled by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.
1.8 Device & Technical Information
- Push notification tokens (to deliver notifications to your device)
- Platform type (iOS, Android, or Web)
- App version
1.9 Feedback
- Feedback text and mood rating you submit through the App
1.10 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Precise location or GPS data
- Device advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID)
- Browsing history or cookies
- Contacts or address book
- Third-party analytics or tracking (no Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
2. How We Use Your Information

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as follows:
3.1 Within Your Family/Village
All baby logs, tasks, journals, and insights are shared with members of your family group. You control who joins your family by sharing an invite code.
3.2 Service Providers

3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or to protect the safety of our users.
4. Data Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- Database access is protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) — each family can only access their own data.
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.
- Photos and media are stored in private storage buckets accessible only to family members.
- Backend API calls require authenticated sessions.
5. Data Retention
- Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
- You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. This permanently deletes your profile, feedback, and AI chat history.
- If you are the last member of a family, deleting your account also removes all family data (baby records, logs, tasks, journals, snapshots, and insights).
6. Your Rights & Choices
- Access: View all your data within the App at any time.
- Correction: Edit your profile, baby info, and logs directly in the App.
- Deletion: Delete your account from Profile > Account > Delete Account. Email hello@momehq.com for a full data export or manual deletion request.
- Notifications: Manage push notification preferences in Profile > Preferences, or disable notifications in your device settings.
- Subscription: Cancel your subscription at any time through the App or your device's subscription settings.
7. Children's Privacy
MomeHQ is designed for parents and caregivers to track the care of their children. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. All baby data is entered and managed by the parent or caregiver.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or sending a notification. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
